how your nails will look? Would you proudly show them to everyone with that
beautiful wedding ring? Or would you keep them inside those wedding gloves?
Whatever you do, you surely want to look the best for that
once-in-a-lifetime (for some people) moment.
We've gathered some practical tips for you, bride-to-be, on how to take care of your nails for this special event.
- Get periodic manicure. At least 2 month before the wedding day, get weekly or biweekly manicure for
shaping and pampering your nails. And if your nails are weak and break
easily, this is a good time to start using the nail strengthener or
thickener.
- Your hands are also important. Apply hand/body lotion more often to your
hands liberally. To help you to do this, buy one with a pump so that it's
easier to get the lotion. Put that next to the sink where you usually wash
your hands. Buy 1 or 2 small bottles lotion and put one in your car and
one in your handbag/purse. Next time you are waiting for a red light or an
appointment, you can use it. If needed buy one for use at work too.
- One or two days before the wedding day, get a manicure or pedicure. Buy a bottle
of nail polish you will use at that time. That's for touch-ups if afterwards, the
polish get chipped. Nail polishes with light or sheer shades will usually
still look good even they chip. So if you worry about the chipping or doing
the touch-up sounds a hassle, you may go with the light shades. If you need
to touch up your polished nails, just apply the polish carefully on your
nails and wait until dry. Then, finish with the top coat and wait until
completely dry.
What style and color of nail polish would be good for a wedding? That really depends on
your wedding theme, gown and preference. Many people like to have French
Manicure. Some would like to have artificial nails. And others would like
to keep their natural nails. If your gown is white you may want to go with the
white shade. The same with ivory, pink, and so on. Next are several colors we
pick among Adoree, BeYou and French Collection that may inspire you. Number only means it is from Adoree Nail Lacquer.
