Why water-based nail polish?

If you are looking for the healthy, most natural possible alternative to paint your nails, Suncoat water-based nail polish is a great alternative to conventional nail polish. In this type of nail polish, all the chemical solvents are replaced by water. So not only it is Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP FREE, but also Alcohol-free and Acetone/acetate-free! When this nail polish is being applied, it is only water that evaporates to the air, not toxic chemical fumes. Moreover, it's naturally colored with earth pigments, containing NO FD&C dyes!

Suncoat brand stands out as the only long lasting and quick-drying water-based nail polish in today's market. It has won the Silver medals of Alive Awards of Excellence in 2004 and 2005. Its non-toxic, odorless natural polish remover is also highly recommended, which can be used to remove BOTH conventional and water-based polish.

Benefits:

  • Doesn't omit the strong odor like other conventional nail polish.
  • Safer to nails. Do not discolor or make nails weak and brittle after repeated use.
  • Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP free. These 3 chemicals have been long used in making nail polishes to add its flexibility, and preservation and used as solvent. Research studies has shown that DBP interfere with normal hormone balance, can cause severe birth defects and other health problems. Formaldehyde is reported as carcinogenic chemicals. Toluene is a common solvent used to dissolve nail polish, and inhaling it can be intoxicating.
  • Environmental friendly. No offensive chemical fumes evaporating to the air, only water.
  • Safer to store and use

Ingredients: Aqua (water), acrylate copolymer, styrene-acrylate copolymer, Glycol ether, Benzoate ester, [+/- mica], [+/-iron oxide], [+/-titanium dioxide], +/-ultramarine blue], [+/-Ferric Ferrocyanide].

How to use: Apply at least 2 THIN coats to clean grease-free nails. Let dry completely. Apply Suncoat Top Coat for long lasting effect. Remove weekly with Suncoat Natural Polish Remover.

Tips: Water-based nail polish can become hard-to-remove if left on the nail for extended time. Recommend remove polish weekly for easiest removal. When the polish becomes too thick and streaky, simply add water to the polish, shake well before use. Add one drop of water each time. Adding too much water to the polish may result in polish separation.

How to remove: Suncoat natural nail polish remover is highly recommended. Dab the remover onto nails using a Q-tip / or a cotton ball, and allow at least 2 minutes for the remover to soften the polish. Then rub the nails until the polish is fully removed. Repeat when necessary. Rinse hands with water to remove residue. To remove without the natural nail polish remover (not recommended for weak and damaged nails): soak nails in hot water for at least 2 minutes, gently scrap off the polish using a fingernail.

Caution: Keep from freezing.
