Review on Suncoat nail polish

On the 9th day after application

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the long lasting power it had. In the beginning, I was careful and conscious with the polish, but afterwards, I was not aware of it and did my regular house works normally. There was once I tightened screws with my fingernails (didn’t bother to find a screwdriver). Yet to my amazement, this didn’t scratch the polish. Towards the end of the week, my nail grew a bit pushing out the polish. A little part of the polish on the edge of the nails went away due to constant surface contacts, but it was barely noticeable, as the polish on the nail plate remained intact (see my picture below).

Removing The polish

It's recommended to remove Suncoat nail polish weekly. But since the polish on my fingers still looked great, I was reluctant to remove it. Because of the recommendation, I was curious to see what the result would be to keep it for more than a week. So on the 9th day after application, I removed the polish. I soaked a cotton pad with Suncoat Natural Polish Remover, and put it on a nail and waited for few minutes. Sure enough, the polish became quite resistant to the remover, and I couldn’t wipe it off. Who would think that a water-based product could have formed such a strong bond yet friendly. Finally, it softened and I used a cuticle stick to scrap the polish out, which was easy. The polish peeled off. It didn't dissolved like common nail polish.

Using Suncoat polish remover is another experience as well. This remover is a bit oily and it works slowly and gently on the polish. Allow yourself more time when removing the Suncoat nail polish. Interesting enough, I found that it removes regular polish faster than the water-based polish.

It is amazing to me that we have been very tolerant, enduring the strong, sometimes sickening odor of the regular polish remover and nail polish. Yet, it is a relief for us to have nail products that are odorless, healthy and earth friendly! After using Suncoat products several times, I formed a new love with these revolutionary products.

Here is a photo of my nails using Suncoat nail polish on the 9th day after application. (SH/03/2008)
