Emery Board Nail File
Hold emery board at a 45 degree angle just under the nail edge. Using the dark side of the board, start on one side of the nail filing in one direction toward the center of the nail using light strokes. Then file the other side of the nail in the same manner to achieve the preferred shape. Using the same procedure, smooth away any rough edges with the light side of the emery board. Never share your file with anyone.
Nail File
Hold the board at a 45 degree angle just under the nail edge. Start on one side of the nail filing in one direction only, toward the center. Then file the other side in the same manner, toward the center. Some nail files are intended for acrylic nails and too harsh for natural nail. Use grit 240/fine for natural nails. Consider buying a professional quality or permanent nail file because it's more economical in the long run. Never share your file with anyone.
3 Way Buffer File/Block
First, use black (the coarsest) side horizontally on your nail bed to refine it and remove ridges. Then, use white side to semi-shine and gray to give the shiny finish. Use this whenever you want to give your nails a break from nail polish but still want the glossy look on nails.
Manicure Bowl
Manicure bowl is one of the most essential accessories that you will need while manicuring. Manicure bowl is typically used to hold the warm water for soaking your hands and nails before starting the cleaning process. Apply cuticle remover, oil or lotion all around the cuticle area if you desire, then immerse the nails in the bowl for no more than 3 minutes. Soaking for more than 3 minutes will fully saturate the nail plate, causing it to swell. Once the plate returns to its normal shape, any polish that is applied will crack and chip.
Pumice Scrub
Use only on soaked and softened skin. Wet the Pumice Scrub in warm water. Apply soap to wet Pumice Scrub, gently buff on heels and calluses. Afterwards, moisturize with heavy lotion/cream.
Cuticle Eraser Stone
Push back cuticles: Hold like a pencil and use to push back cuticles. Removing Cuticle: Dip the tip of the stone into warm water, rub stone back and forth on the surface of the cuticle until it is removed.
Nail Glue
To fix the nail split with glue: let the glue fall out on its own and only use a drop. Using a wood stick, press the glue down over the split. Once the glue is dry, buff the top. Apply another drop of glue. When the area is dry, buff the area again until smooth.
Sooo Smooth Callus Dissolver
After soaking, liberally spread Callus Dissolver over callus. Wear gloves or rinse finger well after applying. Allow it to penetrate 2 - 3 minutes depending on callus buildup. Then use a file or buffer to gently remove callus. Wash thoroughly with water after use.
Rhinestone
Apply stones on polished nail while still sticky. Wait until the polish dry. Finish with a layer or two of top coat to seal the stones.
Pick the stone with a damp end of the wood cuticle stick. You may also use a small drop of clear nail polish or nail glue on nail where the stone is to be placed.
To protect you nail art, apply another top coat in two days.
